Description

Customer just switched to Windows 8 but can not connect to scoreboard

Trouble found:
Older Prolific USB serial adapters are not compatible with Windows 8. Prolific has a test app that you can run to see if your serial adapter is compatible. search for it on the Prolific web site.
When the customer acquires a compatible USB serial adapter the scoreboard will work

Now waiting for customer to acquire USB Serial Adapter

Customer called back and wanted help with the USB adapter install.
found that customer did not have Daktronics Venus software installed to to diagnosticss with scoreboard.
Had customer set new com port to match what was set in scoreboard
Scoreboard works with Moscore and new USB adapter on Windows 8
Referred customer to contact Daktronics for assistance with Venus 1500 software
