Clock causes board to constantly blink

Description
The board blinks every second due to updating the clock would like to see it just show minutes until the 1 minute time frame and then switch to seconds

The changes made work well with the HDD simulator. It is ready to build into release 1.3.30
Feed back from customers is neccesary for any further changes
